Some illustrations for Broad Street Oyster Co.
In the past years I worked on several illustrations for Broad Street Oyster Co t-shirts. The only rule was to create a fun scene with lobsters, oysters, crabs and other sea creatures around.
If I remember right, this was the first graphic. It’s from 2020. Inspiration came from an old New Yorker’s cover.
Try to picture a Miami Vie kind of scene but with Lobsters. A sick 80s dance tune in the background, night lights, neons and a fast car running through the night. And I wasn’t even high, I swear!
Fun fact about this one, the human characters on it are inspired from real people. Who? Well, me, my brothers and my sister. What’s your favorite character? I’m between the oyster on wheels and the parachuting crab. Lobster on the left is kinda stuck on the backwash.
An "Escape from Alcatraz” inspired piece with oysters escaping from the famous prison and the lobsters as guards. I love the starfish who can’t care less, sleeping with her sunglasses on.
Here’s the thing, you’re a Lobster sleeping on your beach chair, then you start dreaming about this super happy shark surfing an incredibly nice, barreling left. A starfish is waving. A bluebird is stoked by the sunset and the whole scene. A crab is flying thourhg the sky on a rocket.
